Fiction

A Troll Story first appeared in abridged form in The Blue Place; rest of the publication history noted at the end of the story

The first chapter of each novel is, well, from each novel and therefore also ©Nicola Griffith. When I get around to putting up some short fiction in PDF format, those will all be ©Nicola Griffith, too.

Photos
All photos (with short hair) by Kelley Eskridge and (with long hair) Steve Swartz, but the rights are owned by Nicola. Four exceptions: the one of Nicola in the yellow vest is by Ellen Datlow, and copyright to her. The two of Nicola and Kelley are by Mark Tiedemann, and copyright to him, the one of Nicola with bare arms in the pub are by Karen Derby and first appeared in the MSA 2004 Calendar. There are no other photos available, especially not naked ones (oh, yes, people have asked...)

Nonfiction
All essays are ©Nicola Griffith. Publication history noted at the end of each piece.

All Ask Nicola answers are ©Nicola Griffith. Quoting with attribution is okay.

Audio
All readings are ©Nicola Griffith.
All other audio clips are copyright to the holders noted.

List of publications

I've put together, in handy printable form, a list of my fiction and non-fiction publications so far. Please don't ask me what is or is not in print, just go do a web search.

Personalised, Signed Copies

Want a signed copy of one of my novels? Thanks to an arrangement with University Book Store in Seattle, you can have one. If you order from them, University Book Store will contact me, arrange for the signing, and then ship the book to you.

Here's what you do: send email to Duane Wilkins at University Book Store asking to order a copy of Always, (or Stay, or The Blue Place, or Slow River, or Ammonite). Be sure to ask that your order be handled by Duane Wilkins. Or call Duane toll-free (in the US) at 800-335-7323. Duane will make payment arrangements with you. University Book Store will ship free, 4th class, anywhere in the United States. If you want faster service or shipment to another country, he will let you know the shipping cost.

If you simply want a copy with a signature, Duane will ship it from his signed stock. If you'd like your copy personalized, he will arrange with me to come into the store and sign your book. Be sure to mention if you want a personalised book, and who it should be signed for. Please note, the point of this offer is to make it easy for me to sign a book specifically for you, so don't be shy—ask for it if that's what you want.

This offer is good for anyone in the world, as long as you're willing to pay for shipping (Kelley has already done this for a reader in Australia who wanted a copy of Solitaire). Many thanks to University Book Store for their support.

Thanks

o just about everyone but particularly Dave Slusher, webmaster emeritus, who set up and maintained The Official Nicola Griffith website for many years, just because he thought it would be a Good Thing.

And to future quest, hosts of this site, who made setting things up easy

Graphic Design

By Devin Friedman, who was dubious to begin with but did it anyway, finding a way to make things look good but still be viewable to all those people who hang on grimly to their obsolete operating systems (hey, I don't blame you--I *loved* WordPerfect 5.1 and would still be using it if it hadn't been so bloody hard to integrate with Windows XP), weird screen resolution choices, and really old browsers
